RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Fully Remote Site Reliability Engineer to join their team.
Summary:
This role is a part of a team who manages all the platforms that online is built on (retail media, search and recommendations, my account, anything online). These applications are all built with React, Node and Java and then hosted into Google Cloud Platform. This team will be standing up new and enhancing current platforms (Google Cloud Platform using Kubernetes/docker/helm) and utilizing Terraform (Main experience required is Google Cloud Platform/Terraform/Kubernetes). They will use Golang or Python for automation at times and help with pipelines and manage traffic, but the SRE is mainly focused on cloud, deployments, managing the infrastructure, metrics, and monitoring.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of experience in similar DBRE, SRE, or DevOps roles in a cloud-based environment (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
* Heavy experience in Google Cloud Platform/Terraform/Kubernetes
* Software engineering experience in a modern programming language is required (Python, Go, etc.)
* Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tooling is essential (Terraform)
* Good understanding of Linux/Unix fundamentals and debugging skills
* Passion for performance, observability, availability, and scalability (metrics and monitoring required)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
